This piece was created by Lis Scarpace, a previous attendee of this workshop. This was her first embroidery piece, made in class!
Through the technique of transferring photographs to fabric and embellishing them with embroidery, you'll learn to create a unique multimedia piece that pops to life with color and dimension with Amanda, artist and owner of Embroidered Panda. You’ll have the option of transferring your own image onto fabric or choosing an image from our collection.
Together, you'll learn to transform special pictures through embroidery and bring them to life! This is a great workshop for both beginner and experienced embroiderers alike as we’ll be covering foundational embroidery techniques while also expanding upon the art form.
No experience needed.
A couple notes:
If you’d like to send a personal photo you’d like to embroider, email your jpeg before the day of the workshop, and we will have it prepped. A reminder email will be sent one day prior to the workshop.
Please fill out this waiver form before attending a class. If you forget, don’t worry – we have paper copies at the studio. Please note if you have filled one out previously you do not need to do so again.
